An estimated 20% of US workers are age 55 or older, yet many employers question the abilities of the demographic and recent Supreme Court decisions have make it harder to prove age discrimination. Join us as we explore the issue of ageism and discuss tips for not only handling it, but also using the perceptions to your advantage.

We'll also present the history of age discrimination court cases, common mistakes made by mature interviewers, a list of perceptions and how to deal with them, and finally give you ten positive characteristics of mature workers.

Presented in partnership with the Duxbury Senior Center.
