BATTLE OF THE BOOK CLUBS

The theme is “Along the Wild Atlantic Coast”

How Do I Sign Up?  Early bird tickets are now on sale for $25.  Both team participants and spectators may purchase tickets.  In order to participate in the trivia competition, you must be part of a team with a team leader.  Please note your team leader’s name when purchasing your ticket.  Click here to purchase your early bird ticket now.  Ticket prices will increase to $30 on December 16th.

You may also register your book club to enter your book club’s (or team leader’s) information. We will email team leaders with updated event information.

What Are The Books?

3. The Shipping News by E. Annie Proulx
4. Shucked: Life on a New England Oyster Farm by Erin Byers Murray

Details?

•     Teams should be 4-8 people. If you have a larger book club, you can split up into multiple teams.
•     You don't have to have an official book club! Grab a few friends and read together.
•     It is not required for everyone to read every book - you can divide and conquer.
•     The four books should be read by March 24th to be ready for the trivia game!
•     The library will be stocking copies of the book selections! Don’t forget - you can always download the e-book and audio book versions on Libby with your library membership.
