Come join the Junior Friends at the Library as we craft a festive ornament made from oyster shells and decoupage!
In this hands-on activity, we will use decoupage and oyster shells (a Duxbury staple!) to create beautiful ornaments. Decoupage is the art of decorating an object by gluing colored paper cutouts onto it in combination with special paint effects, gold leaf, and other decorative elements. Kids will be able to make an ornament to bring home as well as create an ornament to be featured at the FoL table at Holly Days! This craft is best suited for upper elementary aged students, grades 3-5.
Capacity: 11 of 20 spaces available.
