Berline Rousseau is a published author of 3 books. She holds a Master’s Degree in Management Science and a Graduate Certificate in Women in Politics and Public Policy. As a passionate communicator, Berline believes in the power of words to educate and inspire others, which has driven her to write on topics close to her heart. Her latest book, Grace for Mothers, was inspired by the verse, “To whom much is given, much is required,” a message that deeply resonates with her and serves as the foundation for the book’s unique and vital cause.

As a woman of deep faith, Berline has cultivated resilience and strength as a solo-parent through prayer, enabling her to balance the complexities of her professional life while raising her child. She draws inspiration from her love of nature, music, and the profound moments of connection with the world around her, whether walking along the shore or reflecting on the majesty of creation.

Berline’s journey from Haiti to the United States was marked by significant challenges, including the emotional toll of leaving her homeland. Despite these hardships, she firmly believes that every step of her path has been guided by a higher purpose. Her career spans the fields of mental health, interpreting, and teaching, though her early aspirations included becoming a choreographer or a lawyer. Writing and advocacy, however, have become her true calling.

Grace for Mothers is more than just a book; it is a call to action for single mothers to come together in support of one another. Berline advocates for the creation of a non-judgmental, supportive community where single mothers can find the grace they deserve. The book also addresses the often-overlooked plight of the “hidden children of the ordained,” particularly those abandoned by religious leaders who have taken vows of celibacy. Grace for Mothers seeks to bring attention to these silent pains and offer solace and support to those who need it most.

Berline’s hope is that Grace for Mothers will reach millions, reinforcing the message that single mothers deserve grace and that their children should be nurtured and guided, rather than abandoned and mothers burdened with the responsibilities of adulthood. She aspires for Grace for Mothers to inspire single mothers everywhere to model strength, resilience, and grace for their children, ensuring they grow into the person they are meant to be.
