Thursday, March 234:00—4:45 PMMerry RoomDuxbury Free Library77 Alden Street, Duxbury, MA, 02332

Isaac’s Story, a book published by the Department of Mental Health, is a wonderful jumping-off point for conversations about the power of friendship, the pain of stigma, and the importance of paying attention to and encouraging all youth who are wounded somehow to find their strength, rely on friends, family and helpers, hang on to their dreams, and to live a life with joy and meaning.

A representative from the Plymouth Division of the MA Department of Mental Health will be reading this story. Afterwards, they will answer questions about talking about mental health as a family. Perfect for children grades K-2, but all elementary ages are welcome (with caregivers).
