Peter and the Wolf at the Ellison Center of the Arts

South Shore Conservatory (SSC) and Duxbury Free Library invite the public to an afternoon with the arts, featuring a presentation of Peter and the Wolf, at SSC’s Ellison Center for the Arts on Friday, March 24. This free event starts at 12 noon, with a family-friendly arts activity with the Duxbury Art Association.
Narrated by Massachusetts State Representative Josh Cutler and Massachusetts State Senator Patrick O’Connor, this special woodwind quintet arrangement of Prokoviev's masterpiece brings this children’s story to life. Performers include SSC faculty members Donald Zook (flute), Peter Bianca (clarinet), Elizabeth England (oboe), Meryl Summers (bassoon), and Plymouth Philharmonic player Neil Godwin (French horn).
Following Peter and the Wolf, families are invited to participate in a movement activity with Dance Teacher Kaitlyn Mazzilli, R-DMT, LMHC, a member of South Shore Conservatory’s Creative Arts Therapies and Dance departments.
