The Banjo Bob All-Stars Dixieland Band is a group in honor of Rhode Island jazz banjo player “Banjo” Bob Sundstrom. Justin Meyer formed the Banjo Bob All-Stars Dixieland Band as a tribute to Bob. 

Members of the Banjo Bob All-Stars have:

• played with New England’s top Dixieland bands, including The Wolverine Jazz Band, The Paramount Jazz Band, The Brahmin Bellhops, and the New Black Eagle Jazz Band

• played on Hollywood film soundtracks

• played in concert with Tony Bennett, Cab Calloway, Rosemary Clooney, the Four Freshmen, Dizzy Gillespie, Norah Jones, and Lou Rawls

• played at the Newport Jazz Festival, the Beantown Jazz Festival, and the Kennedy Center

• played in Hong Kong and Shanghai with the Hong Kong Ballet

• played with the Artie Shaw Orchestra and the Nelson Riddle Orchestra

• and are members of the faculty at Brookline Music School, Indian Hill Music, and The Concord Conservatory
