The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, dedicated to the memory of the nation’s thirty-fifth president, is located on a ten-acre park which overlooks the sea in an building designed by I.M. Pei. The Museum portrays the life, leadership, and legacy of President Kennedy, conveys his enthusiasm for politics and public service, and illustrates the nature of the office of the President, all through permanent and changing exhibits. The Library is available to students and scholars to conduct research using its collection of historical materials chronicling mid-20th century politics and the life and administration of the institution’s namesake.

Pass Benefits

Pass admits up to eight adults, seniors, college students, or youths, with a $3.00 co-pay per person.  Children ages 12 and under receive free admission.  Please note that pass voucher does not guarantee entry.  Advanced ticket reservations are currently required.  

This is a paper pass that requires check out at Duxbury Free Library. Your confirmation email will provide detail pass instructions.

Located in the former Bristol Academy school building in Taunton, Massachusetts, the Old Colony History Museum is home to an extensive collection of more than 13,000 unique regional objects and a research library specializing in local history and genealogy, the latter with a focus on Southeastern Massachusetts prior to 1850. The permanent exhibits fall into the following themes: portraits, settlement, immigration, industry, transportation, fashion, military, and society. There is also a space on the first floor dedicated to temporary exhibitions.

Pass Benefits

This pass admits free admission to pass holder and their party.

Please visit the library the day before your visit with your library card to pick up your reserved pass. This is a RETURNABLE pass that must be brought back to Duxbury Free Library by the time the library opens on the day following use or a $5.00 per day fee may be charged.

Museum is closed on holidays and Saturdays of holiday weekends.  We do try to keep information about the museums up to date, but we recommend you call the museum at 508-822-1622 or check the museum's website at www.oldcolonyhistorymuseum.org to confirm hours of operation, dates opened/closed, and admission prices.
